The Capitalista

A curated evening for founders, operators, and business leaders to connect beyond the usual networking format.

NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA — Founders at Sunset returns to HanaHaus on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, bringing together founders, entrepreneurs, operators, and business leaders for an evening focused on meaningful conversation and genuine connection.

Created by Capitalista Lab, Founders at Sunset offers a more intentional alternative to traditional networking events. Rather than focusing on pitches, business cards, or crowded conference-style interactions, the evening is designed to create space for conversations that can lead to new ideas, collaborations, referrals, and long-term professional relationships.

A More Intentional Way to Connect

The format is simple: bring thoughtful people together in a relaxed environment and make it easier for meaningful conversations to happen naturally.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and exchange experiences with others who are building, leading, and supporting businesses.

The community includes founders at different stages, executives, operators, advisors, investors, creatives, and professionals looking to expand their network with greater intention.

Building on the Newport Beach Community

The October event follows the previous Founders at Sunset gathering in Newport Beach, where entrepreneurs and business leaders came together for an evening centered on candid conversation and new connections.

Each gathering is part of Capitalista Lab’s broader effort to build a strong community around founders and business owners — one where relationships continue beyond a single event.

Founders at Sunset is led by Capitalista Lab founder Rosha Entezari and is part of the organization’s wider work supporting founders through business, financial clarity, community, and shared experience.
